Live in a city? Work a 40-hour, Monday through Friday type of job? Well, so do we! We reside in downtown Tacoma, Washington and are dedicated to leaving the concrete jungle every weekend to enjoy this world in its most basic elements. As passionate outdoor activists, we write for individuals looking to strengthen their connection with landscapes, fresh air and life. Our fundamental goal is to encourage people to stop making excuses and get outside! Follow us for trail reports, photos of the dazzling Pacific Northwest, or to simply fawn over our favorite four-legged friend, Ms. Abbey Road.
The three of us grew up in the scenic town of Steilacoom, Washington which possesses grand views of the Puget Sound, surrounding islands and Olympic mountain range. After graduating from highschool, the three of us went our separate ways, lived our separate lives. But something drew us back to the area. Whether it was the mountains, the water, or the positive vibes of the people, we do not know. All we know is that in the summer of 2015, we started hiking. Tired of being ditched by our friends and family who were “too tired” or “too busy” to get outside, the three of us found each other. That is the beginning. That is the end. Thank you for checking out our blog. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
