Chasing Waterfalls

Don't go chasing waterfalls? Think again... Waterfalls are beautiful, majestic, and all over social media. You might wonder, where in the hell do people find these places? Well, living in the PNW makes it quite easy. The internet brings us a great volume of information on just about everything. Thanks new age living, and Al Gore......? Our favorite resource which you will hear us talk about often is the Washington Trails Association (www.wta.org). WTA makes it very easy to find exactly what you're looking for. With the "find a hike guide" and "filter system" on their website, anyone can find a variety of accessible waterfalls in the area. Come to find out, a lot of these popular waterfalls, and even the not so popular, are very easily available. Do note that the bigger the waterfall, the more commercialized these places have become. Leading to more traffic and less of the wilderness feel. We tend to stay away from those ones.
